Youth Mentorship

Since 2009, XO has dedicated her time and energy towards the development of youth empowerment around the Chicagoland area. Starting the program Future Artists Coming Together (F.A.C.T.) on Chicago’s Southeast Side, her mission was to inspire the minds of youth to follow their dreams through artistic expression. For 6 years she offered mentorship, artistic direction, and booking opportunities for dozens of kids between the ages of 8 and 19 years old.

Collaboration

By encompassing a collaborative attitude with local charities, XO has been able to work with several Non-Profits including A Safe Haven Foundation, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, The Chicago Food Depository, & Leila Steinburg’s The Microphone Sessions. Whether hosting charity events or offering public speaking seminars, XO is dedicated to her philanthropy work and the progression of local organizations. Most recently, XO has expanded her titles as Executive Board Member for the Harold Colbert Jones Memorial Community Center located in Chicago Heights, IL.

Insight & Influence

After struggling with her diagnosis of PTSD, XO has divulged in the progression of emotional literacy within minorities and underprivileged neighborhoods around the country. She has been an advocate for mental health reform, joining in on forums, podcasts, blogs, and television to speak on the mental health problems in underdeveloped communities. XO launched XO Live! in 2015 and created Muscles, Meditation & Motivation in 2021.
